What do you stand for? What are your company’s core values? Your mission statement? Check in with them. Your voice should ladder up to those.
Now that you’re clear on your target audience and what you stand for. Take it a step further and dig into your brand’s personality – how do you show up. Are you funny? Sassy? Smart? Peerless? Approachable? Quippy? What is it. Narrow this down to 3-5 words that describe your brand’s personality. We want to get CLEAR on this.
Now you’re ready to define your brand voice. Look at your keywords you selected for your personality, check in with your values and build out a voice that ladders up to the two to best represent your brand. Then remember to always choose consistency in every touchpoint.
